Accessibility
Accessibility is part of the build, not an add-on.
I want this portfolio to be usable by as many people as possible, regardless of technology, ability or how they choose to interact with it.

My approach
I aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 (opens in a new tab) at Level AA where they apply to this site.
No accessibility overlay or widget is used. Accessibility is addressed in the content, HTML, CSS and interactions themselves—the same way I approach accessibility in client and product work.
What is built in
- Semantic page structure, landmarks and a logical heading hierarchy.
- A skip link for moving directly to the main content.
- Keyboard access and clearly visible focus indicators.
- Responsive layouts that adapt to different screen sizes and zoom levels.
- Text and interface colours chosen for readable contrast.
- Reduced motion when your device or browser requests it.
- Alternative text or explanatory captions for meaningful portfolio imagery.
- Plain language, descriptive links and controls with accessible names.
Current status
This is a self-evaluated personal portfolio and has not yet undergone an independent accessibility audit. I avoid claiming complete WCAG conformance without the testing and evidence needed to support it.
I am not currently aware of a barrier that prevents access to the site’s main content. However, accessibility is an ongoing process, particularly while new case-study media is being added.
Websites and services linked from this portfolio are outside my control and may not provide the same level of accessibility.
Found a problem?
I will investigate and respond as soon as practical. If you need portfolio information in a different format, let me know what would work better for you.
Assessment
The site is currently assessed through self-review of its structure, keyboard behaviour, responsive presentation, colour contrast and reduced-motion handling. This statement will be updated when further manual or assistive-technology testing is completed.
